5.5. Daylight Dimming
5.5.1. Introduction
This feature allows us to utilize external daylight that is coming into the space and reduce the light output of any luminaire to enhance energy efficiency.
You can either enable or disable daylight dimming with existing calibration or
Manually calibrate and enable daylight dimming by adjusting the light output of a luminaire.
5.5.2. Configuration
5.5.2.1. Enable with Current Calibration
Toggle relay on for whole zone or off for selected node only
Press Enable to enable daylight dimming.
Press Disable to disable daylight dimming.
Press Query to get the current status
5.5.2.1. Calibrate & Enable (Recommended)
Dim a luminaire to desired output by following temporary dimming shared earlier.
Now click on “Calibrate and Enable”
Allow you 3 seconds to move out of the field of view before it takes a light reading and calibrates the Response Sensor Node for this level of light. We recommend doing this for each individual luminaire separately if you are enabling this feature the first time.
By default, daylight dimming is disabled for all the nodes.
We recommend if this is you first time enabling daylight dimming consider reading this.
