This User Guide is the most comprehensive source of information for operating an Organic Response lighting control system. The data is categorized into chapters detailing how to interact with the system using the Response Apps & cloud-based OR Portal.

You must have the Response App or Response IR App ready, as described in detail here. It's best to use the latest versions of Chrome or Safari for the OR Portal.

1.3.1 Configuration

Each configuration feature is detailed and ordered based on its appearance in the applications (IR & Response App combined). All features are explained through titles and subpages,

  1. The title page will include technical details such as what a feature does and how it works.

  2. Meanwhile, the sub-page has “how to configure“ step-by-step instructions.

1.3.1.1 Type 1 Standard Configuration Steps

Standard instructions for how users can configure a feature are provided in easy steps with visual aids through screenshots. Screenshots are highlighted with the same number as the step.

1.3.1.2 Detailed Configuration Steps (Advanced Users)

Step-by-step instructions for executing commands on the Response App and the Response IR App are detailed in a consistent table format. These detailed steps are suitable for detail-oriented users. Please refer to these when performing advanced troubleshooting or providing training for others. The steps also have information on confirming that the changes have taken effect by verifying the behavior of Response SN3s & luminaire. See the example shown below by clicking on the expand icon,

Upon Node selection, press the + button or – button.

The Dome of selected Response SN3 flashes red once to acknowledge receipt of each command.

Light will increase in brightness by one dimming level (+) or decrease in brightness by one dimming level (-)
